SL carries out first burial of Covid victims in the Eastern province, today

Sri Lanka carried out the first burials of COVID-19 victims in the Eastern Province on March 5. 

 

Army Commander General Shavendra Silva stated that two burials were conducted in the Ottamwadi area in Batticaloa.

 

Furthermore, the remains of five more COVID-19 victims were also scheduled to be buried today.
