President calls on all countries that are facing problems to join hands to find solutions

 

President Ranil Wickremesinghe is calling on all nations facing difficulties in the world to join together to find solutions.

President Wickremesinghe explained the new phase of Sri Lanka's foreign policy while addressing the meeting of the African representatives held at the Presidential Office yesterday (February 03) and the Presidential Media Division stated that Sri Lanka and Africa stood by each other in difficult times.

The Division (PMD) reported. Sri Lanka also shares commonalities with many African states in terms of its legal system. Sri Lanka also maintains significant economic ties with the African region, but there is room for further growth.

Although investment, tourism and migration flows have also grown in recent decades, the African continent remains small in terms of total flows to Sri Lanka.
