PM Mahinda makes a phone call to Afghanistan

Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa has given a telephone call to Hamid Karzai, a former president of Afghanistan, which was recently ruled by the Taliban.

Mr. Mahinda Rajapaksa stated that he assured Mr. Hamid Karzai that Sri Lanka would continue to support the people of Afghanistan.
