No strike tomorrow: CEB United Trade Union Alliance

There is no strike tomorrow, but we are calling the employees attached to the maintenance services to Colombo, Ceylon Electricity Board (CEB) United Trade Union Alliance Convener Ranjan Jayalal said.

 

He told the media that their union would not call the essential workers who are engaged in the power stations and those who are engaged in emergency maintenance services.

 

"As per the theory, we know that without our presence in the power stations, there is no way of providing stable power supply," Jayalal said.
