More than 80 pregnant women have been infected with coronavirus so far

Obstetrician and  Gynaecologist Dr. Mayuramanne Dewolage stated that over 80 pregnant women have tested positive for COVID-19 the island so far.

 

As per the sources,  28 pregnant women are currently under medical care at the treatment centre located at the Colombo East Base Hospital.

 

Dr. Dewolage also stated that 4 pregnant women have successfully have given birth to healthy babies at the hospital.
