Moderna and Pfizer vaccines are given only to students going abroad - Army Chief

Army Commander General Shavendra Silva said that the Army only administers Moderna and Pfizer vaccines to students going abroad for higher education.

The Army Commander further stated that it is mandatory to submit documents stating that they will be going abroad to obtain the relevant vaccines and it has not been decided yet whether to give Pfizer or Modernna vaccines to local university students.
