Minister Johnston instructs to construct an alternative route to facilitate transportation in Warakapola

Highways minister Johnston Fernando advises constructing an alternative road from Warakapola town.

It will be parallel to the Colombo - Kandy road to reduce traffic congestion in the town and Ambepussa area, the minister says.

The government has completed the process of acquiring lands for the project and 98% compensation had already been paid.
