Minister Gammanpila reveals that a loan facility of US $ 3.6 billion will be provided from Oman

Sri Lanka is set to sign an agreement with Oman for a loan of US $ 3.6 billion.

 

Energy Minister Udaya Gammanpila said that loans would be provided to purchase fuel.

 

The loan agreement between the two countries will be signed next week, the minister said.

 

The agreement was reached as part of Sri Lanka's recent talks with several countries on fuel purchases.
