Mahinda in bio bubble visit

The Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa will visit Bangladesh in a bio secure travel bubble. The Ministry of Health has carefully considered all vulnerabilities and cleared the state visit to Bangladesh on the basis that all travel arrangements are made within a  bio secure travel bubble environment while  adhering to strict COVID-19 preventive measures.

 

The bio-secure bubble emerged as a practice to conduct events, mainly after the COVID-19 pandemic.
Golden Jubilee of the Independence

 

During Prime Minister Rajapaksha’s visit he will join in celebrations of the birth centenary of the Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and the Golden Jubilee of the Independence of Bangladesh. However according to the bio bubble arrangement physical contact with others will be limited.
The  prime mister is to have a limited number of bilateral talks and among them are talks with Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, President of Bangladesh Mohammad Abdul Hamid, the Foreign Minister of Bangladesh and the Governor of the Bangladesh Bank.
