MRIA reports highest passenger arrivals this year

The total number of passengers using the Mattala Rajapaksa International Airport since January 2021 is 25,767, the number of arrivals in 2020 was 17,544 and in 2019 it will be 1,403, said Namal Rajapaksa.

Airport traffic had increased due to recall, charter and sailor flights.

The Minister said that the government is committed to promoting the Mattala Airport as an aviation hub in the region.
