God's help to punish suger scam culprits

Divine intervention has been sought to punish those involved in the sugar scam. However, the move of the opposition politicians was disrupted.

 

A group of MPs led by Dilip Wedaarachchi visited the Seenigama shrine known for seeking divine intervention to punish the wrong-doers.

 

But once the opposition activists arrived at the shrine, they were amazed to find that the keys to the main shrine and boats to go to the main shrine on the nearby island had been hidden in an apparent bid to disrupt their movements.

 

Undeterred the opposition activists prayed to the gods, pleading to punish those responsible for the sugar scam.
