Former Minister Ravi Karunanayake remanded over bond scam

Former Minister Ravi Karunanayake and 07 others have been remanded until March 23 over the Bond Scam issue in 2016.

 

Attorney General (AG) Dappula de Livera  filed indictments  against the suspects before the trial- at- bars hearing the cases filed on the Central bank Treasury Bond sauctions held from March 29 to March 31, 2016. 

 

They have been placed under remand custody until March 23.
