Former DIG Vass Gunawardena and wife released from a case

Former Deputy Inspector General Vass Gunawardena and his wife have been released from a case filed at the Colombo High Court.

 

When the preliminary objections were filed, the Attorney General’s Department withdrew the indictment paper.

 

The Colombo High Court has ordered the two individuals to be released from the case.
