Showers or thundershowers at times in the Western, Sabaragamuwa, Southern and Central provinces. Heavy showers of up to 100 mm may occur at some places in these areas.

Showers or thundershowers during the evening or night in a few places in the Uva Province and in the Batticaloa and Ampara districts.

Winds will increase up to 40 kmph at times in the North, North-Central, North-Western and Southern provinces.

The general public is kindly requested to take adequate measures to minimize the dangers posed by temporary strong winds and lightning in those areas during thundershowers.
