Focus on weather today

Showers or thundershowers will occur at several places in the North, North-Central, North-Western, Western, Sabaragamuwa, Central and Uva provinces and in the Galle and Matara districts during the evening.

Heavy showers of more than 50 mm are expected in the Sabaragamuwa and Central Provinces and in some places in the Galle and Matara districts.

The general public is kindly requested to take adequate measures to minimize the dangers posed by temporary strong winds and lightning in those areas during thundershowers.
