Focus on weather today

Showers or thundershowers will occur at times in the North, North-Central, Eastern and Uva provinces and in the Matale district.
 

Showers or thundershowers during the evening or night in the Western, Sabaragamuwa and Northwestern provinces and in the Kandy, Nuwara Eliya, Galle and Matara districts.

Foggy conditions are expected in the Western, Sabaragamuwa and North Western provinces and in some places in the Galle and Matara districts during the morning.

The general public is kindly requested to take adequate measures to minimize the dangers posed by temporary strong winds and lightning in those areas during thundershowers.
