Showers or thundershowers will occur at times in the Sabaragamuwa and Central Provinces as well.

Showers or thundershowers will occur in the Galle, Matara districts and in the Western and Northwestern provinces. Showers or thundershowers will occur in the Uva, Ampara and Batticaloa districts during the evening or night.

Winds will be 40-50 kmph in the Hambantota, Trincomalee districts and on the western slopes of the Central Highlands, North, North Central and North Western provinces.

The general public is urged to take necessary measures to minimize the damage caused by lightning and wind.
