Focus on weather today

Showers will occur at times in the Northern, North-Central, Eastern and Uva provinces and in the Hambantota and Matale districts.

Showers or thundershowers will occur at other places during the evening or night. Heavy showers of more than 50 mm are expected in some places.
 

The general public is kindly requested to take adequate measures to minimize the dangers posed by temporary strong winds and lightning in those areas during thundershowers.
