Showers or thundershowers will occur in the Western, Sabaragamuwa, Central and Northwestern provinces and in the Galle and Matara districts. Showers or thundershowers will occur in the Uva province and in the Batticaloa and Ampara districts during the evening or night.

Winds will develop up to 50 kmph in the western slopes of the central hills, northern and north-central provinces and in the Trincomalee and Hambantota districts.
