Finance Minister launches 'Weda Lakshayak' development project

Finance Minister Basil Rajapaksa today (February 03) launched the countrywide development project “Weda Lakshayak” - dubbed 100,000 tasks - to strengthen the livelihoods of all citizens.

Minister Basil Rajapaksa, who spoke on the “Weda Lakshayak” initiative during an event held yesterday, stated that a budgetary allocation of Rs. 85 billion has been made for this project.
