Facebook is set to change its name

On Tuesday, Verge reported that social media giant Facebook Inc. Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg plans to talk about the name change at the company's annual affiliate conference on October 28, but it could be unveiled soon, Verge reported.

 

The renaming will place Facebook's social media app as one of the many products under a parent company, and will oversee Instagram, WhatsApp, Oculus and many more, the Verge report added.

 

Google was established in 2015 as Alphabet Inc.
