Exam dates for GCE A/L and Grade 5

Education Ministry has decided to further review the dates announced for the 2021 Grade 5 scholarship & GCE A/L examinations.

“These dates will be further reviewed & decision to be announced in due course” Prof Kapila Perera, Secretary, Ministry of Education said.

The GCE Advanced Level Examination and the Grade Five Scholarship Examination will be conducted in October, according to the Education Ministry.
The A/L Exam will begin on October 4 and end on October 31, while the Grade 5 Scholarship Exam will take place on October 3.

Both of these exams, which were originally planned for August, have been postponed due to the country's current COVID-19 situation.
