Dhaka, Colombo seek greater cooperation through sea and air connectivity

 

Bangladesh and Sri Lanka on Friday stressed on greater cooperation between the two countries, promoting sea and air connectivity by reducing air fares.

Bangladesh Foreign Minister Dr. AK Abdul Moman, who is currently in Colombo, met Sri Lankan Prime Minister Dinesh Gunawardena and discussed mutually important issues.

UNB said that in this meeting, they also talked about the import of medicines from Bangladesh and cooperation in the field of information technology.

Bangladesh Foreign Minister Dr. Moman is scheduled to join Sri Lanka's 75th Independence Day celebrations in Colombo on February 4.
