Covid for everything in a Piliyandala old age home

Piliyandala Medical Officer of Health Dr. Indika Ellawala said that 20 adults and 8 staff members of a nursing home in Piliyandala have been infected with the Covid 19 virus.

Due to the congestion in the hospitals, a team including Dr. Aruna Jayathilaka, Regional Director of Health, Colombo, Dr. Nandani Somaratne, Medical Officer in Charge of the Piliyandala District Hospital and the Medical Officer of Health, Piliyandala have visited the old age home and provided them with the necessary basic facilities and treatment.
