Attack on SJB party office in Dematagoda

 

It is reported that some group attacked the Samagi Jana Balawega (SJB) party office in Dematagoda early Wednesday (15th February).

SJB member Mr. Mujibar Rahman said that several people broke into the party office and severely damaged the propaganda boards inside the office.

Furthermore, Rahman accused the President of creating a new culture of using gangs to destroy party offices by intimidating the candidates representing SJB in the upcoming local government elections.

Meanwhile, he stated that an SJB candidate for the upcoming local government election has been summoned to the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) in connection with the burning of the private house of President Rail Wickramasinghe.
