An Update on AstraZeneca 2nd dose in SL

The second dose of AstraZeneca COVID-19 vaccines will arrive in Sri Lanka this week, according to the Colombo Municipal Council (CMC).

 

The vaccines will be made available to everyone who had the AstraZeneca vaccine as the first dosage, according to CMC Regional Epidemiologist Dr. Dinuka Guruge.

 

People who received their first dose of the vaccine at a CMC-operated location will be notified via SMS of where they can get their second dose.

 

People who received the first dose of the AstraZeneca vaccination in other locations will have to wait for instructions from their local Medical Officer of Health (MOH), she said.
