Ali Sabri says Islamism, which has been around for centuries, must be preserved
Ali Sabri, the Minister of Justice, said yesterday that the traditional Islamic brand that has been followed by Muslims in Sri Lanka for centuries should be preserved and the religion should not be practiced as one group.
"As well as preserving the unity between different religious and ethnic groups, the unity of Muslims must also be preserved," he said.
