A new Secretary has been appointed to the Monetary Board of the Central Bank

J.G.R. Karunaratne, an Assistant Governor of the Central Bank of Sri Lanka, has been appointed as the new Secretary to the Monetary Board of the Central Bank.

The Central Bank of Sri Lanka has announced that he has been appointed as the Secretary with effect from September 15.
