A decision taken by the Samagi Jana Balawega after the defeat of the no-confidence motion

The Samagi Jana Balawegaya has decided to go to the constituencies of the ministers and parliamentarians who worked to defeat the no-confidence motion against Minister Udaya Gammanpila and inform them of their actions.

Accordingly, steps will be taken to implement this program from today, said the Leader of the Opposition Sajith Premadasa.

Parliamentarian Field Marshal Sarath Fonseka stated that the government has hired members of minority parties to defeat the no-confidence motion.

Secretary of the Sri Lanka People's Front Parliamentarian Sagara Kariyawasam stated that despite the internal problems, the Opposition will not be given any opportunity to weaken the government.
