7 plastic and polythene related products are banned

A Cabinet Memorandum to ban seven disposable plastic and polythene related products is due to be submitted to the Cabinet today.

Accordingly, plastic drinking straws, spoons, drink cups, forks, knives, string hoppers cutlery and plastic, polythene garlands are prohibited.
