Test captaincy is not a burden to me: says Dimuth Karunaratne

Sri Lanka Test captain Dimuth Karunaratne stated that he does not see captaincy as a burden despite the team's recent losses against Pakistan. He scored modestly in the matches but believes winning and losing are part of the game. 

 

 

Dimuth expressed his desire to relinquish the captaincy and focus on his batting, but selectors convinced him to continue. 

 

 

However, he hopes a new captain will be groomed for the future of Sri Lanka cricket, mentioning Dhananjaya de Silva as a potential candidate.
