A remedy for Delta Covid variants : Study

Vaccines from AstraZeneca and Pfizer are effective against Delta Covid variants, according to a study.

According to a scientific study, COVID-19 vaccinations developed by AstraZeneca and the Pfizer-BioNTech alliance are still broadly effective against the Delta and Kappa versions of the COVID-19-causing virus, which were initially found in India. This supports a continuous drive to provide the shots in India.

According to a study conducted by Public Health England (PHE), vaccines developed by Pfizer Inc. and AstraZeneca provide more than 90% protection against hospitalization due to the Delta variant.
