The decision was made by entire government..

The final decision made on fuel increment has taken by the entire government, said Udaya Gammanpila The Minister of Energy. He called a special press release yesterday in order to answer back to the official statement published by Saraga Kariyawasam the secratory of SLPP on 12th Saturday.

 

Furthermore he stated that this decision was forwarded for the approval of PM Mahinda Rajapaksha and he approved it as a finance minister. Accordibg to minister, the committee appointed for cost of living controlling was aware about the decision and he was just published the decision made by the government.

Minister further said that, he would like to invite Mr. Sagara Kariyawasam for an open discussion on the matter in future.
