Polls-related complaints top 2,000 - 14 cases of violence

 A total of 129 fresh complaints related to the upcoming presidential election were received, bringing the total number of complaints to over 2,000.

 

According to the Election Commission, a total 2,098 cases have been reported during the period from July 31 to September 02.

 

Of the total complaints, the National Centre for Election Complaint Management received 755, while the District Centres for Election Complaint Management received 1,344.

 

All complaints were categorised as breaches of laws, with 14 incidents of violence being reported.
