Umaria arrested for road accident

Popular singer Umaria Sinhawansa has been arrested by the police in connection with a collision between a car driven by Umaria Sinhawansa and a three wheeler near the Rajagiriya flyover at around 5.30 pm yesterday.

Police Media Spokesman Senior DIG Ajith Rohana stated that the injured three wheeler driver has been admitted to the Colombo National Hospital for treatment.

He further stated that the Welikada Police are conducting further investigations into the incident.
