There is no power cut today as the Petroleum Corporation supplies diesel

The Ceylon Electricity Board (CEB) says that there will be no power cuts today (15) as the Ceylon Petroleum Corporation has supplied 3,000 metric tons of diesel for power generation.

 

Against this backdrop, the CEB published a manual loading schedule stating the times and locations of power outages.

 

The Ceylon Petroleum Corporation (CPC) had earlier stated that it was no longer possible to supply fuel to the CEB on a loan basis.
