The US says it supports the development of the transportation sector

During a meeting with Transport Minister Pavithra Wanniarachchi, Susan Volk, Chief Political / Economic Officer at the US Embassy in Sri Lanka, said that the US Government would extend all possible assistance to uplift the transport industry in Sri Lanka.

The discussion was attended by Louise Salas, Commercial Liaison Officer at the US Embassy in Sri Lanka and Kanchana Jayaratne, Private Secretary to the Minister of Transport.
