Mobile app is designed to track the refueling history of vehicles

Kanchana Wijesekera, Minister of Power and Energy says that a mobile application has been set up to monitor the refueling history of vehicles and to exchange real-time data with filling stations island wide.

According to the legislator, the mobile application developed by the Information Technology Department of the Sri Lanka Police is currently being tested in several locations islandwide.

He explained that if the vehicle had been refueled from another location on the same day and its refueling history would be informed by this step.
