Introduces BIA's online system for exiting passengers within 20 seconds

A new online system has been launched today to enable passengers arriving at Bandaranaike International Airport (BIA) to exit the airport within 20 seconds.

 

DV Chanaka, State Minister of Civil Aviation and Export Zone Development launched this online system at the airport.

 

Passengers can upload their details by accessing the QR code displayed in the arrival lounge.

 

Accordingly, they have to submit their vaccination confirmation card and the result of the PCR test 72 hours before their arrival in Sri Lanka online under this scheme.

 

The Minister of State also said that the Katunayake Airport will be fully digitized by April 2022.
