Showers or thundershowers will occur at times in the Western, Sabaragamuwa, Central, North Western and Northern provinces and in the Galle and Matara districts.

Showers or thundershowers will occur at a few places in the North-Central Province during the evening or night.

Winds will develop up to 50 kmph in the western slopes of the central hills, northern and north-central provinces and in the Trincomalee and Hambantota districts.

The general public is kindly requested to take necessary measures to minimize the damage caused by temporary strong winds and lightning during thundershowers.
