Focus on weather today

Showers or thundershowers of more than 75 mm are expected in the Western, Sabaragamuwa, Central, North Western, Northern and North-Central provinces and in the Galle and Matara districts.

 

Winds will develop up to 50 kmph in the western slopes of the central hills, northern and north-central provinces and in the Trincomalee and Hambantota districts.

 

The general public is kindly requested to take necessary measures to minimize the damage caused by temporary strong winds and lightning during thundershowers.
