Lose weight by drinking water

How can you lose your weight in two weeks by drinking water? If you feel hungry, it may be because of thirst also. So in that case you should start drinking water now itself. This can help you lose 1 to 2 pounds a week. Normally, a pound of fat is equals 3,500 calories, so if you want to lose 2 to 4 pounds in two weeks, you need to reduce your diet from 7,000 to 14,000 calories. To burn those extra calories, you need to stop drinking the high-calorie drinks you drink every day. Then at the end of two weeks, you can lose a few pounds of your weight.

> Drink water before meals

In 2010, the 40th National Conference of the American Chemical Association presented a variety of research on water consumption and weight loss. A group of researchers discussed their study and it included two groups of adults. Both groups followed a low-calorie diet, but one group drank two glasses of water before a meal. At the end of the 12-week study period, the researchers found that participants in the study who drank water before each meal lost an average of 15.5 pounds more than the other group members. They say that drinking water fills your stomach and that you need to eat less because it burns fewer calories. If you follow that strategy for two weeks you will be able to lose less than 1 pound a week.

> Avoid all other beverages

12 ounces of Coca-Cola has more than 130 calories. Also, cut down on the high calorie content of all other beverages as well. And make it a habit to drink water instead. Drinking water alone for two weeks can help you lose 3,640 unwanted calories or more.

> Don't over drink water

According to medical research, the recommended amount of water is about 13 cups a day for men and 9 cups for women. You can calculate the litres that you must take by your weight in kilograms divided by 25 as well. This amount should be added, including the water you drink, the water we take in from other drinks, and the moisture our body absorbs from food. You can certainly drink more than this amount, but drinking more water is not a good idea. This can lead to a condition called hyponatremia, which causes your blood to dilute and your electrolyte levels to drop. At its worst, hyponatremia affects your heart and muscle function. It can even put a person in a coma. Therefore, it is important to drink enough water but not excess.
