52 individuals arrested at a party for violating the quarantine regulations

52 individuals have been arrested at a party on January 17  over the violation of the quarantine regulations.

 

The said arrest had been made at a hotel located in Higurakgoda.

 

The party had been organized via social media.

 

Forty nine  of the above individuals have been released on bail and three of them are still under police custody as they have beeen found to posseess cannabis. 

 

As per the sources, they are to be produced to Higurakgoda Magistrates courts on January 19.
